Ten impact-driven ingredient manufacturers join forces with one shared ambition: accelerating the circular cosmetic economy. The cosmetics and personal care sector is worth billions and continues to grow, making collaboration essential for creating real change.
Every year, millions of tonnes of conventional ingredients are produced for cosmetics and personal care products. While these ingredients may deliver performance, some of them come with a cost: their production releases greenhouse gases and pollutants and damages ecosystems.
As a result, the beauty industry seems to face more scrutiny than ever. Rising regulations on responsible sourcing and growing consumer expectations for transparency are reshaping the landscape.
