NoPalm Ingredients wins Rabobank Sustainable Innovation Award

NoPalm Ingredients has won the Rabobank Sustainable Innovation Awards in the “food transition” category. Out of several hundred participants, NoPalm Ingredients was selected as finalist together with Deep Branch (CO2 converted into Proton for animal feed) and Sunt (Upcycling bananas into valuable products like banana bread).

Earlier on, during the startup pitches at YES!Delft in March, we explained our story and ambition to tackle the palm oil problem by brewing microbial oils with fermentation that can replace palm oil as an ingredient in food, cosmetics and detergents. The jury, comprised of Rabobank executives and Investors agreed that our innovation has the potential to scale and positively impact our planet.

Our prize is a € 20.000 cash prize and participation in a Yes!Delft accelerator program. We will use this cash prize to acquire a new piece of equipment needed while scaling our process.
